Hey folks as we all know it’s hard finding good help. Well BJ has Fallen on Hard times and despite some generous contributions from Texas Instruments and others our writting staff has left for “paying positions” with other websites. I can’t blame them really. Well we are looking for either new staff or someone interested in taking over full operations for Bj the Lab Monkey.
So if any writers out there are interested in reviewing products or running a review website let us know. If things turn around we we will be back soon with a new look and new exciting review.
Hey guys what a great giveaway! We had an awsome time doing this one and the entries reached about 2000. Well two very lucky kids received the Ti-84 Plus Calculators. We are going to be posting their pictures in the entry in the next couple of days once we receive them in email.
Thanks again to Texas Instruments for providing us with a Giveaway for back to school and all of you how tweeted your entries. We look forward to doing more of these soon.
Look for Ipod Screen covers, and Halo ODST Game Giveways coming up next!

Hey Guys!
Oh did you think we meant that TI? No sorry he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. We are talking about a better TI than the rapper. We are talking about the TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator. We knew it had been a long while since our last giveaway and so did Texas Instruments. Our pals over at TI decided to hit us up with an awesome back to school giveaway. That’s right we are going to be giving away 2 TI84 Plus Calculators for your back to school needs courtesy of Texas Instruments so get ready to calculate to your hearts content.
Here’s a little bit about these powerful additions to your backpack. The speed is a great improvement over the 83-Plus. The TI-84 Plus comes loaded with 11 Apps that will make things even more convenient, such as a Probability Simulator and Cabri Jr., a great geometry app. The student looking to upgrade from the TI-83 Plus will find comfort in the fact that the TI-84 Plus is 2.5x faster and has 3x the memory than the TI-83 Plus.
The TI-84 Plus is also extremely easy to hook up to your computer to transfer new Apps and updates to it using the USB port and the included USB cable. Now when was the last time you were able to plug up your calculator to your computer? For me that would be a never. The big brain in your family is really going to be happy with this newest addition to the TI family line up.
So the details to the giveaway are simple:

One re-tweet gets you one entry. The more you tweet the more chances you have.
The first calculator will be given away one week from tomorrow when the giveaway officially starts so get to tweeting and re tweeting.

Yeah, we felt it coming. The Xbox 360 Elite is going to drop in price to $299 and will ultimately become the new “Pro” console, letting the white box that we know and love wither away. This will make only two consoles on the market: the Xbox 360 Elite and the cheap harddrive-less Xbox 360 Arcade bundle.
We aren’t sure if this means that we will only have the black Elite to choose from and the white with chrome finish color scheme will become a thing of the past, but expect to find out around August 30th, which is the release date for the Meijer catalogue pictured above. Happy travels, Xbox 360 Pro. [Via]
